Hello. This is Charlie Trotter.

Here are some actions you can take:
Read my NEW comic. Read my old comic. Read my toots. Watch my videos.

last night i hosted my first couchsurfer!
(for those of you who don’t know what couch surfing is, you sign up on couchsurfing.org, and you can either host people, or ask to be hosted when you’re traveling! it’s a great thing.)
anyway, i’ve been signed up for awhile, but there’s really no reason why anyone should ever have to stop where i live, ha. i got an email wednesday from David (the couchsurfer guy) asking if it was to late to stay at my place thursday night (last night). i told him that it was perfectly fine, and cleaned the house and got everything ready for him.
i can’t imagine a better person to be my first experience hosting.  he was incredibly nice and friendly, and picked up the tab at dinner.  i showed him around town a bit (there’s not much here) and we hung out at my place and watch Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
i’m so glad he was able to come, best night in a long time.

I’m looking on the Statistics page of their site and I’m having trouble finding the graph for the number of hosts murdered with an axe. I bet they could sell a lot of mommy blog ads on a page like that.
